Welcome to the all New & Improved Military Special Needs Network!
It’s been a LONG TIME COMING, but I am proud to welcome each and every one of you to the all-new, exciting Military Special Needs Network!! We have been undergoing a big overhaul these past few months….so, without further ado, let’s talk about MSNN!!!!
Our Military EFM families are diverse. We’ve got dependents with physical, psychological, emotional, neurological, sensory, behavioral, social, genetic, and developmental disabilities. AND we’re dealing with deployments, PCS moves, schools, therapies, and a myriad of doctor appointments, too. It’s a stressful world we live in! The Military Special Needs Network is here to help alleviate some of that stress and give you just a little piece of mind.
We are branching out to become the first International Support Group for ALL Military Families – regardless of branch of service or location – with a dependent with any special medical and/or educational need! We’re re-launching the Network to include a more interactive, dynamic networking site! We have added so many amazing things – a weekly MSNN blog, interactive maps showing where your nearest local EFM support group is located, fabulous discussion boards, and a ton of information about disabilities in the military world. We are going to be adding pages for each branch of service (since we’re all a little different), and will have information for the EFM process, contacts, and so much more!
We will be launching our all-new and improved 24/7 online virtual community center where YOU can join in the conversation, meet new friends in YOUR area, learn about services, find up-to-date information and resources, and be part of our fast-growing community! Have a blog? Share it in our center! We want you to share YOUR stories. Share your tragedies, triumphs, and let’s celebrate our dependents with special needs.
We will be introducing the non-profit part of the Network – the MSNN Foundation soon, which will help families receive financial support to be used for a variety of supports, programs, and equipment related to their military dependent with special needs.
It’s TIME to come together – regardless of branch of service, global location, or diagnosis, and become ONE GREAT BIG VOICE! It’s TIME to fight for EFMP adult services, respite care, medical & therapeutic help, and everything else in between! It’s TIME to learn the pros and cons of services available at ALL installations for ALL branches! It’s TIME for a REVOLUTION!

We are here to support one another, empower each other, cry and laugh, fight our battles together and most important, celebrate the fact that we’re not just families with special needs dependents, but a very special community of awesome military families.
