Proudly Supporting all Military Families with a Special Needs Dependent
Jenny Albertson is a Navy wife and her family is currently stationed at Navy Base Kitsap in Silverdale, WA. She has been married to her Sailor for almost eight years.
Jenny says her favorite part of being a military spouse it the pride she feels for her husband for serving our great country and fighting for our free…dom. “My husband has done countless deployments, workups, and even an IA assignment. Times are really difficult when he is away from home, but I am so proud of him and his devotion to our great Navy.”
If she could go back and give herself a piece of advice before becoming a military spouse, Jenny said “don’t stress about possible orders. They will come and go, but until you have them in hand, anything is possible.”
Jenny is a wonderful advocate for her children, Nathan and Abby. She recognizes and accepts that some things are not perfect, but believes that her children and all others deserve the best information and resources that are available to them out there. Jenny spends a lot of time helping out her fellow EFM moms and is a wonderful friend, shoulder to cry on, and great listener.
The Military Special Needs Network honors and salutes Jennifer Albertson as the Military Spouse of the Day! We thank you for being such a wonderful military spouse and an amazing advocate for special needs!
