Military Special Needs Network

Proudly Supporting all Military Families with a Special Needs Dependent

The Launch is here!

The wait is FINALLY OVER! The Military Special Needs Network has just launched our all-new social networking site – www.militaryspecialneedsnetwork.com, and we are so excited to welcome all our wonderful, special military families home!
We’ve learned a lot these past few years. We’ve learned that our special families want real-time conversations. They want answers. They want friendships. They want to know that they are not alone. They want a judgment-free zone. They want to be accepted no matter what their dependent’s disability is. And boy do we get that! That’s what the new MSNN is all about! We offer family support. We aren’t here to talk at you. We’re here to talk with you. Spouses, children – we have no age limits. We have no disability bias.  We’re not a catalog of resources or an instruction manual – we’re here to walk the path with you and offer caring, encouraging support for your entire military family.
You may be asking, “How can I contribute?” or “How can my voice be heard?” The simple answer is:  log on and jump right in and share! Check out the forum. Ask and answer questions. Write a blog post.  It’s all up to you!
Every part of the site was created because of real world experiences that our military families are facing. As new needs and experiences come around, they will be added, too. This is a work-in-progress, just like all of us! We aren’t website professionals, coding all day and developing apps and widgets. Nope, we’re military families just like you, living right alongside, trying to navigate the waters.  So, there may be a few bugs – but don’t worry – we’ll get it ironed out!  And don’t be afraid to let us know if something is missing that you feel is important. We will get it added.
We are super excited and we hope that you will join in and help build this fantastic community. Join us today because together, we are all part of a big, diverse military family. We are here to support one another, empower each other, cry and laugh, fight our battles together and most important, celebrate the fact that we’re not just families with special needs dependents, but a very special community of awesome military families.
Join us today in a movement to change military lives and our communities.

Comments, discussion and insight always welcome!
