Life’s never dull over here in Special Needs Land. Nope. Not even on Halloween. So many of our children need special accommodations in every day life. Those needs don’t take a break on the holidays – in fact, we may need even more assistance on those days just because of the sensory assault our kids experience. We may have special dietary or allergy issues that require a special vigilance. We may have disabilities which require wheel chairs, walkers or crutches. We may have sensory issues which prevent our children from enjoying dressing up in store-bought costumes.
